Glen is an innovative problem solver with over 30 years of experience in the semiconductor industry, where he has directed and led innovations, teams, and organizations across engineering, program management, business development, and strategic planning. His expertise spans both the commercial and defense sectors, with a proven ability to integrate complex technologies into real-world applications.
Over the past 16 years, Glen has worked extensively in the DOD, DOE, military, and aerospace technical sectors—including more than 13 years with Cobham/CAES and the last 3 years focused on optical and laser communications. In the commercial space, he has held engineering and management roles in enterprise, telecommunications, and data communications systems, specializing in passive optical networks and high-speed serial technologies. His work has consistently driven forward innovative, high-performance solutions in challenging technical environments.
Glen is also a military veteran, having served over 21 years in the U.S. Navy. His service included roles in Naval Aviation and the Navy Civil Engineer Corps, where he further developed his leadership and operational expertise.
He is known for his ability to bridge the gap between emerging technologies and practical deployment, successfully translating innovation into demonstrations and productization—especially within mission-critical systems that demand high reliability and resilience. His leadership spans the full spectrum from early-stage startups to billion-dollar corporations, including navigating mergers, acquisitions, buyouts, and corporate integrations.
